This jewelry chest is as large and lovely as it looks online. Heavy and well-made, with sturdy hardware on the doors and drawers, it holds my collection nicely. The packaging is excellent - I'm convinced that the only way this could get damaged during shipping is if it's drop-kicked onto the delivery truck.Now for the flaws: The glass doors feature an attractive etched design - but as I was inspecting for cracks or chips, I discovered that the left door is etched on the outside of the glass, while the right door is etched on the inside. This isn't obvious to the eye of the casual observer, but it ticked me off just the same. Also, the design that's carved into the uppermost front panel looks a little cheesy - I'd rather they'd have left it plain, or attached another drawer pull just for looks.For this price, the chest ought to be perfect - thus the 4-star rating. Were it not for the issues with the glass and the carving, I'd give it an enthusiastic five stars.This jewelry box is absolutely gorgeous!!! My husband bought me this as a gift for our upcoming 17th Wedding Anniversary on 10/31. I absolutely love it!!! Honestly, I could not have received a better gift. The craftsmanship is amazing and it's much bigger than your average size jewelry box. I highly recommend to anyone to buy it, whether it is for yourself or as a gift. You will not be disappointed.this was greatly needed to replace my 100 year old junk jewelry boxes. I was a little nervous reading some of the other reviews but this one arrived in 1 piece with no scratches, etc The only issue I have is one of the side glass doors is a little bit lower than the other one but no one will notice it and it really is a beautiful piecegrate giftYour be very disappointed !!!! Workmanship is disappointing as well.It also arrived with the glass broken on one side.This is a beautiful jewelry box/micro cabinet that is just as sharp in person as it is in the manufacturer's pictures. I ordered it on a Sunday and it was delivered on Wednesday. The item arrived very well packaged and cushioned. There was padding on both sides of the glass panels to keep them intact. I fully inspected the unit for any defects or scratches and could not find anything that was damaged. The hinges and drawers all work as designed. The frosted glass etchings are a wonderful accent. I am very satisfied with this itemI fell in love with this the minute I saw it. Looks Awesome on my dresser. Fits perfect goes together with my bedroom furniture. Thanks So very Much. UPDATE- I contacted the manufacturer through facebook messenger and they responded immediately and are sending a replacement drawer. Great service!
