Traditionally a linerlock knife, we upgraded to a titanium framelock for this edition: reliable, sturdy locking mechanism and dead center blade without any play (even after hours of flicking or weeks of use). All the elements of the fidgeting favorite penguin remain, including dual thumb stud openers, and ceramic ball bearing for smooth snappy action. Marbled carbon fiber show side scale with an asymmetrical pattern for a buttoned up but unique look. Clip side is full titanium, including the pocket clip, pivot screw, and all hardware. Rounding out the handle is the lanyard hole, for getting your bird even more dolled up if you so choose. Finishing off this waddling tuxedo is the premium S35VN steel, flat grind blade. A substantial upgrade over D2, S35VN is a sweet spot for steel hardness, ease of maintenance, and corrosion resistance. Jimping on the spine of blade for better grip when cutting or carrying. Two thick thumb stud openers, QSP logo proudly engraved on show side.
