We relied on these during after-school and summer programs. Craft supplies could be set out for "buffet" pick-up or prestocked with individual materials. The trays stack, so many sets can be prepared ahead and stored easily. Also used these as placemats for coloring sheets to keep crayon off the tables. (The pattern makes a great texture for crayon.) The trays are lightweight but sturdy--perfect for kids. The trays are also good for projects that need to dry, especially with a piece of waxed paper. So happy they are not expensive, and we could let kids who had to leave early just take the whole tray and project home. We ended up finding a million uses for these terrific trays.
