Wow, I use this device (a pair) right after my computer and my DAC for hifi audio streaming. It is so effective to stop common mode noises from computer. The sonic gain is huge. The included switch power supply is decent enough but to maximize the gain, use LPS. It’s Great that both RX and TX can be powered by separate ps. I also use ifi idefender usb before the RX to completely isolate it from computer power.It’s abit tricky for the system to recognize the units. Karma to the reviewer before me, it helps so I’m paying back the community here.The power needs to be on fairly precise. TX unit first, then the USB device (my case - the DAC). Then the RX needs to be on (or connect to the pc). Then you can power PC on. IKR!Also, RX and TX matter. RX has to connect to comp. TX on usb side.Despite of all that, I still give this product 5 stars. I ordered alternatives from other companies but they didn’t work. Some even runs warm before any connection is made. This set runs cool.SFP has their own sonic sound, I use Cisco active 10g 1m. Sounds amazing! GL on your audio journey, I did quite abit of research and test to get here!
