This original design handmade stained glass mosaic panel features a rainbow of birds on a wire including a cardinal, an oriole, a goldfinch, a bluejay, and a chickadee. This artwork has been created using hand-cut transparent and translucent stained glass adhered to a clear glass sheet permanently mounted in an upcycled black-finished wooden frame (21 3/4" x 11 3/4"- measured to the outer edge of the frame). Hand-painted details add depth to the image. The mosaic has been grouted with charcoal-colored grout. Hanging hardware included. Glass-on-glass (GOG) mosaics blend the transparency of modern stained glass with the intricacy of mosaics. The result is a detailed piece of artwork that "glows" when light is transmitted thru it.
