This is a pretty good whiteboard for the money. It's not perfect, but it's also not three times as much. I wanted to leave a fair review because it feels like most of the poor reviews have their expectations set too high. I'm going to compare this whiteboard to a similar sized whiteboard that I use at work, which I think most people are expecting.Mounting:The mounting is ok, but not great. The nicer whiteboards have six mounts instead of four. They are also larger diameter mounts. I'm not sure that size makes much difference, but it should be noted. Since there are only four mounts on this board, there is some flex in the middle that isn't present on the more expensive counterpart. Like another reviewer, I put some of the Styrofoam in the box behind it after it was mounted. Overall, mounting was fairly easy. I used the cardboard from the packaging to make a template for the top two holes. It's a lot easier to level a piece of cardboard than a piece of glass. After installing the top two mounts, I hung the whiteboard and marked the lower mounts.Thickness:The glass is much thinner than the whiteboard at my office. We recently had to move the whiteboards and it is almost impossible to move with just one person. This whiteboard was easily installed by just me. If this board were thicker, it would be less flexible. I think this is an acceptable trade-off considering the price.Magnetic capability:I didn't have high hopes for the magnetic ability and I wasn't really planning on using it that much. That said, a lot of people were disappointed in this feature. The back of the whiteboard has a very thin sticker of flexible magnet. It's the same material that cheap refrigerator magnets are made of. The included eraser does stick to the board, but I couldn't get a small magnet to stick on the glass. The more expensive board looks like it has a thin piece of sheet metal glued to the back. Magnets do stick to that really well. I don't think you are going to find a good magnetic board in this price range, especially a glass one.How markers show up:I bought fine tip BIC intensity markers. These do fine on other dry erase surfaces, but not so great on glass. I tried a red one at work and it didn't show up. It was the same on my whiteboard. I think this is a maker issue, not so much an issue with this particular whiteboard. Some markers just don't work as well on glass. So blame the markers not the whiteboard here.Size:This is not quite 3x4, it is a little smaller in both directions. This isn't really a problem, but it would have been nice if the mounting holes lined up to be 16 inch on centers to make mounting easier and safer. I'm not going to complain about the size. This is a fairly good whiteboard. I think the only real complaint I have is that they didn't put six mounting holes instead of four. I guess you get to feel good about not throwing away Styrofoam.
