This rug is nice; I love the looks. It 'pulls' easy so I need to be careful when vacuuming. So other than my dog loving to chew on it, this rug is great for the money.I like this rug. It's much softer than I thought it would be. The fringe on the edge is the reason I got it, many jute rugs don't have fringe. I haven't had it long so I can't review it's durability. It did give off a very earthy "jute smell" the first 2 weeks... maybe not for people with sensitive noses. Seems to be very soft and nice on your feet. Not scratchy at all even for kids.Love this rug! It’s beautiful, it’s much softer than I expected, it’s not stiff and misshaped like many I’ve seen and doesn’t shed. The ONLY thing I am not happy about is the fact the my daughter and I have both stepped on something very sharp which pierced skin. When I dug it out of the rug it was a small piece of rusted metal in the shape of a cross. I’m not sure if they use them to keep some of the weave in place but I had to dig them out because they were sticking up which loosened one of the loops and looks bad.I’m a self-proclaimed rug junkie. I look and look until I find just the right rug with enough bang my buck. I’ve purchased several jute rugs in the past, mostly from Home Goods, but this one takes the cake! It’s very heavy, as you can see virtually no wrinkles, and I literally just unrolled it for this photo. It will most likely shed, all jute rugs do, but I may suck it up and leave it inside because it’s longer than I expected (originally ordered for outside patio). Will update if anything changes, but so far, love it!This rug has greatly exceeded my expectations for the price. It is heavy and soft. It works perfectly in my home office. Love the added element of the fringe in a natural rug. Works great!Great quality thick rug. Holds up very well. You need to vacuum a few extra times for the first week as it naturally sheds but it stops after a week. Super rug would buy it againI really like this rug! It does not smell bad and there is no dirt or shedding thus far. The sides are straight and it has flattened nicely. Color is as pictured. It was delivered promptly and was in protective packaging.
