The Jonard Tools FLS-50 Optical Light Source is designed to provide 1310 nm or 1550 nm wavelengths for fiber optic testing. This optical light source is the perfect tool for providing a stable light source for single mode fiber measurements and works seamlessly hand-in-hand with our Fiber Optic Power Meter (part no. FPM-50). This optical light source features highly stable output power and wavelengths, four different modulation output frequencies (CW, 270 Hz, 1 kHz, 2 kHz) at 1310 nm and 1550 nm wavelengths, and a backlit LCD screen that provides a clear viewing display and is ideal for dark and low light applications. The optical light source has a highly durable design with flush buttons for ease of use and preventing dust from entering the unit, plus a shatter-resistant sleeve to protect the light source from falls or other damage.
