For those with reason to purchase braided aramid sleeving, (and therefore knowledge of what aramid fiber ), this quality product is the best deal I have found. I recommend you get you some, or a lot; if you get a lot, tell them I sent you! {wink}And to those among the aramid-uninitiate thinking about getting this to fashion yourself a bullet proof beer cozy, please be aware that aramid fiber is somewhat analogous to fiberglass in that unless it is coupled with a binder or substrate, it will readily unbraid and fray if you, say, try to force some edged item through the sleeve.*The note in response to seeing complaints that the sleeve didn't hold up when used on electrical cord, which you can use this with cord/cable but need to use PVC shrink tubing over your aramid.** OH! and the size is forgiving in case anyone is curious. It will accommodate larger diameter than listed measurements would indicate. But don't push it, I am talking a (+) of 1-1.5 mm ...mmmaybe 1-2. And if you try to feed too large a cord it will tend to catch and fray/disarray your beautiful braid.
