I started playing pickleball this past summer and I wanted to upgrade my paddle. Previously I was using a $40 cheaper one that did the job. After playing in my first tournament, I knew I wanted to upgrade and become more serious about the sport. I tried this paddle out at the tournament from a friend and I really liked the feel and performance of it. The Gearbox website was out of stock of the one I wanted, so I turned to other sources that sold it. Amazon's price held true to the base price and it arrived nicely on time!
