If this is a direct OEM replacement for you, or buy the hardware in the kit, it is probably great. I was replacing a cheaper acrylic lid. I was hoping that the hardware would match the hole size, but that is not the case (not a big deal, I figured I would buy reducing adapters). My current gauges and valves are 1/4 inch (pipe ID), and the holes in this measured just under 5/16" with the calipers. That is just a bit too small to fit 1/8" in hardware, so I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it. I'm not experienced with drilling glass and am afraid of breaking it. Nothing at any hardware store I've been to has anything small enough to fit. I ended up just making a vacuum chamber from clear 3" pvc. With all of the parts, it was cheaper than this lid and I can drill any size holes I want. Seemed to be good quality though, and came with a gasket, I just can't use it. Would give 5 stars if it would have said what size hardware fits it before purchased and I could purchase the proper adapters.
