I am a 5'3", female. Bought the 48" double bend paddle.With Covid, the dragon boat community has suspended all practices in California. Our team is fortunate to have a small fleet of OC's and kayaks. The OC paddle pulls more water than a dragon boat paddle. Minor blemishes on the grip, but it wasn't a deal breaker. Overall, a beautiful lightweight paddle.I originally bought the hybrid paddle from this company but had to return it. The grip on the hybrid paddle was a deal breaker.
