When this desk was shipped, it was missing parts to it so I had to contact the manufacturer to provide the missing parts because packing it all up and sending it back seemed like a daunting task.There are so many pieces to it and it’s complicated to put together. Some of the screws didn’t fit properly so I had to switch them out. But once it was built, I loved the final look. Just know it’s a project!I like the size the color everything else the only thing I don’t like it’s very heavyGood construction, looks great, nice solid furniture. LOUSY instructions!Lousy assembly instructions. I laid everything out on a table, identified each piece (as best as possible) and placed in order of assembly, and then proceeded to assemble it. The process still took four hours. The trickiest piece of all to assemble was the drawer container. The instructions reversed the graphical dimensions of the sides, which made it very confusing. After assembly, I discovered the back panel of the drawer container was reversed because the pure white color ended up inside instead of outside. The side that's now exposed is an off-white grayish hue. Not the end of the world and I'll probably end up painting that panel with pure white to match because that side of the desk faces outward into the room The manufacturer deserves a "D" for instruction quality.This desk is NICE ! Solid and quality ( as far as a paper laminate over wood can be - drawers/cabinet) However, although I have always built ANYTHING with ease, this one really was aggravating and had to assemble parts and dissemble them and put it back together. So I deducted one star for the extra 2 hours it took me to put it together. This should be an 1.5 hour assembly, and maybe you can do it in that, but we didnt achieve that expectation. But, now that its done, its forever sturdy!Here's the deal - THIS IS THE SECOND time I've left feedback (my first was not approved, interesting)... the desk did not go together correctly. It took my spouse SIX HOURS to put it together because he had to re-drill a bunch of holes, so the drawers would close. There's a scratch in the glass, and I'm trying to get this addressed with the manufacturer.Only get this desk, if you know what you're doing. My spouse was a carpenter, now engineer. This desk is not for the inexperienced. If you are able to get it put together correctly then it is a BEAUTIFUL desk. But it will be stressful, and there's a high possibility that not only our desk was manufactured incorrectly.At the end of everything--we love our desk!Delivered without hardware and a broken slat in a damaged package. But a call to the BEST after sales service department had both on their way via FedEx with just two days delay.Set about building only to discover that screw marking holes had not been done. Another call to the BEST after sales department had a new package with every board included delivered in two more days.Everything now in place, a robust, well designed, elegant desk and a very happy user. Great value--even better service!!I'm giving this desk a 4 stars because the wood was chip in lots of different places when I got it ,and it's also not a good quality wood, it's press wood very cheapAnd it comes with no instructions ManuelBut it's good and I love the frame and the glass topNice desk. The frame is solid and the glass top looks nice. It took some time to figure out the instructions for the drawers. The only con I have is that the drawers do not line up perfectly. They're slightly slanted on one side. It's nothing major and not too noticeable.
