Cohasset 262 4-Inch Green Glass Ball Wind Chime - Outdoor Garden Decor for Patio, Porch & Backyard Relaxation

I fell in love with this wind chime when I saw one just like it outside a little shop in Ocean Grove NJ but it was over $50.00! That seemed too much to me for one wind chime... I was thinking about it a couple days later and searched on line for something like it...and here she was! I was so excited! :D It looked exactly the same and was $15.00 less in price. I actually ended up ordering 2. And FREE shipping was a great deal. I literally just received them and opened the box, only 2 days after ordering! They are gorgeous! and Big! Bigger than the one I saw originally I think..As someone else mentioned, they are way bigger than I expected. They sound lovely. They have a deeper mellow sound. The bamboo chimes are 1 & 1/4" - 1 and 11/16" thick on the largest. The longest being just about 16" long ! The braided rope at the top is 1.5 thick. The color of the glass is clear with a greenish tint like recycled glass. Pretty mush just like pictured but without the cloudiness. It is clear, tinted green glass. I absolutely love them! The only one flaw (not really a flaw but unusual) I found is there is a hole at the top of the glass about 1.5" on both hidden under the braided rope. It serves no purpose as far as I can imagine..and if hung outside will probably fill with water eventually.... It definitely looks like hand blown glass and there are no seams so it is probably where the glass ball was detached from the pole when being formed and NO sharp edges around the hole. The glass can be moved around so that the hole is at the bottom, but then you can see it and bugs will probably take residence. I will probably just leave it at the top and just find a cork to fit both so nothing gets in and trim the cork down a bit. Do not let this stop you from buying it...it's not a big deal. It is so beautiful and substantial, it sounds great and so worth the price! I can not wait to hang them outside! You will love it :)
