Love this rug!! I've returned 3 rugs in the last couple of months, because even though they had really high reviews, when they arrived they all looked so cheap and were made of poor quality materials.I was ready to give up trying to find a rug online, but thought I'd give it one more try and ordered this one.I'm SO glad I did. It's gorgeous & is exactly as described. Craftmanship is top notch, fabric quality it high end, the design is classy yet timeless & casual, and it feels SO good under your feet (I was very hesitant since Jute typically has a rough and "straw like" feel - nothing about this rug feels rough - just soft & silky). A non-slip pad is definitely not necessary. It doesn't slip at all on our hardwood floor and the thickness is perfect.Such a solid piece that is going to last us for years!!I HIGHLY recommend.
