I looked at many propane fire pit tables on Amazon and elsewhere before deciding on this one. Other similar size tables were somewhat less expensive but looked ugly and their reviews often stated that the materials they were made of were flimsy. Many had a high rate of return for refunds. This model actually looked stylish in the description and had extra features, like a built-in storage cabinet.The unit arrived unscathed and was extremely well-packaged. The outer box had multiple doubled plastic straps wrapped around it. They were also taped in place. It's a heavy package (weighing about 95 pounds). Unpacking it takes a bit of work to cut though all the straps and tape. Inside the box, each component was also carefully wrapped and packaged in such a way to prevent any damage. There were no scratches or dents on any of the parts.I was pleasantly surprised by the well-written assembly instructions. They are actually contained in a nicely-printed booklet and were easy to read and understand, although the ink used to print the booklet is a bit on the light side (medium brown) so be sure to have plenty of light available when reading it. The instructions are only in English, which made following them easy without clutter.Assembly was straightforward and can be done in about an hour. The components all fit together as expected without any surprises. The table is very sturdy and well-engineered. I really like the nice finish of the metal tabletop and sides. The metal is fairly heavy gauge, too.The burner lit with the electronic ignition without problems. It produces plenty of heat and the height of the flame is adjustable. I like the looks of the included glass pellets (as opposed to lava rocks that other fire pit tables often include). The tinted, tempered glass flame guard can be used if you want to protect small children or pets from the flame. It easily fits in place without fasteners and can be removed if not needed. I think it tends to block some of the radiant heat from the flame so I may opt to not use it unless children are around.This table did not ship with any protective cover, which isn't a problem for me because we will not be storing or using this in any weather-exposed areas. It does include a metal top that fits over the flame area when not in use so the table can be used as a regular full-size table (such as during warm weather).In summary, I am very pleased with this fire pit table. Although more expensive than some other models, the price is still much better than what I have found in big box stores for similar models of lesser quality and style. I rarely give five stars to any product because I can usually find something to nit-pick about. But I really can't complain about anything regarding this table, including the assembly, appearance or function.
