DALS Lighting 13 Inch Round CCT LED Glass Flush Mount Ceiling Light - Dimmable Modern Fixture for Bedroom, Kitchen, Hallway & Living Room Lighting

I bought a couple of these to replace some defacto lights in my house, where regular dimmable LED bulbs would flicker erratically in the fixture.First off the that the build quality is pretty good. A metal mount housing and a thick glass shade, actually diffcult to find around this price. The metal housing isn't the sturdiest, but once tightened to the outlet housing it feels as strong as it needs to be. The glass shade is attached by slipping through 3 posts and then twisting, though since there is no indication when to stop twisting, I ended up in a situation where trying to remove the shade resulted in the whole housing rotating off the mounting screws. A little bit of blue tack on the back of the housing made sure that didn't happen again. The wiring is a simple 3 wire connection, one being ground, and the housing has a slight indentation area in the middle so any wire that doesn't get shoved well enough back into the receptacle box has somewhere to go instead of being squashed.The LEDs are in a large circular pattern with the driver components in the middle, all covered with a plastic shield. The 5 CCT selectable switch is also in the middle and easy to adjust. The color temperature is achieved via an alternating pattern of white and yellow leds. The LED PCB board is screwed to the housing in multiple places, with I am guessing some sort of thermal pad, so there is adequate cooling of all the components. The spec sheet says dimming is from 10-100%, but my regular triac dimmer was able to get it to go down to 1% without flickering. Dimming levels though were only reliable from about 5%, and the brighness increase appeared to top out around 70%, anything higher was nearly imperceptible. My preferred default brightness ended up being 30%. Coupled with mixed led usage from my 3500k temp choice and the heat dissipation from the metal housing, means these LEDs should last a very, very long time. CRI is also very nice at 90, my red couch pillows have a lot more pop in the color. Definitely noticeable compared to some dimmable LED bulbs I have that are about 80 CRI.In all a very nice fixture, especially compared to the competition in this price range. The only thing that prevents me from replacing every fixture in my house with one of these is that these will almost certainly require a dimmer.
