I am very happy with these runners! I was nervous that the border color would be different as pictures often are, but it went perfectly with my wall color, and I love the durable seagrass for my shoreline home and best of all, it had a fabric backing with rubber nubbies so it is easy on my wood floor and does not slip! No rug pad needed! I have been looking for months for runners like this and even ones from expensive stores did not have everything I wanted till I found these. And so inexpensive!It shouldn’t be judged on softness, you know it won’t be soft. And it’s not easy to clean, things can get trapped in the weave and you can’t vacuum it. It’s a stylish rug, that does it’s job and looks niceI ordered this for our beach house. What I’ve found is sand and dog hair clings to the rug. It is ok quality at this price point. We have it under the dining room table. I’ve noticed with the chairs any movement and the fibers on the rug become loose. It looks good but not practical for us. May move to a less used area of the home.love this rug. very good quality. heavy weave. love the backing on it so you don't need a rug pad underneath.I only gave one star for softness because it is a dried natural fiber and its not soft at all but when you want a natural fiber rug that is understood.if you have small babies crawling around it would be tough on their knees but mine are all grown up now so I finally get what I want!!! :)))Nice clean simple natural look.highly recommended!!!The weave on this rug is huge. About an inch. It is definitely not soft. It smells like fresh hay. Which does not bother me. It looks nice on the floor, but I won't be walking barefoot on it.It is just what I wanted and overall, I am very happy with it. I only wish it had come with a rubber backing so it doesn't slip on my hardwood floors.Perfect entryway rug. I was delighted to find a runner that is wider than the usual 2 feet. I pre-treated the rug with a 3M spray, Concentrating on the binding. But, because of traffic the binding still Shows soil, It’s just the nature of these rugs. Easy to vacuum, and soft underfoot. What would make this product really durable and easy to keep clean is a binding in a coated cotton fabric that could be wiped down. Rather than then the usual plain cotton webbing.This rug is really well made. Thick with padding underneath. Doesn't slip. Looks nice.It’s not soft but I knew that based on the material it’s made of. Easily vacuumed with the right adapter. My only disappointment was that it’s not the nice light beige colour in the picture shown. Ours has a distinctive green tone to it, so not happy it doesn’t go with the decor I had in mind. Hopefully it will fade and lighten up over time, because the size fits our front entry perfectly.Just out of the box three days ago and it is already coming apart - on the corner, where no one has even walked on. Really disappointing.Beautiful rug! Excellent quality. It's not soft on your feet but it provides this almost nice massage under your feet when you do walk on it.
