Delivered on time, excellent packaging, what more could I ask for. It has been several weeks since we got it and it is wearing well. It is Jute and is definitely not soft, but sturdy and well made. We love it, we will probably get another for another room.Love this rug. Navy trim is so cute, looks perfect for a lake house, beach house. It definitely is not real soft and not something you’d sit on, kneel on for long. I’ve only run the vacuum over it for cleaning and it is holding up well.Doesnt look like it will hold up in heavy traffic, but attractive under a tableI’m happy with this rug. I wanted a budget-friendly option for underneath the kitchen table - I couldn’t elite enough some of the prices for a 9’ round rug ??. This works perfectly. It’s a sturdy and durable material, well made- no loose threads or uneven stitching. It came rolled up, so it took a day or so to completely flatten, but it did. Mine didn’t have any kind of smell to it other than a faint smell of the seagrass....but I have several seagrass rugs and maybe I’m just used to it. But it definitely does not smell moldy or dirty. It has a nice backing- soft felt like material with no slip knobs (see my photos)...mine is one hardwood flooring and I didn’t need to I use a rug pad to protect the floor or rug grippers to keep it from sliding. It’s easy to clean...I vacuum it regularly. Now....my husband isn’t crazy about the way it feels on barefeet ....but no one else in the family has any problems with it. So if you have SUPER SENSITIVE feet, you may want to look at other options than seagrass. Otherwise, if you’re looking for a reasonably priced rug, of good quality that’s easy to keep clean, doesn’t necessarily have to have under-padding underneath, and looks nice then I definitely recommend this one. ??this rug truly feels like you're walking on a basket; It it very scratchy. I have it placed in front of an exterior door and it does not absorb and moisture off the bottom of your shoes when entering the house, although it does "scratch" dirt off of your shoes. After just a week of very light use (it was at our front door which doesn't get used very much) some of the fibers had already broken and now they stick up from the rug and make it look worn. I definitely would not recommend this rug.I wanted a natural fiber rug for my cat who loves to lay on something a little scratchy! And, this rug is also easy to clean, whether it is dirt stains or pet stains. Have several of these rugs in my home. Great value!I've had several sea grass rugs. They don't last particularly long so I have to replace them every few years. I love the quality of the binding & the backing is the best I've seen. Usually it is just a rubber type coating & after a bit will stick to the floor it's on, this backing is a wool type fabric with small rubber dots hopefully they won't cause a major chore to clean the floor when it needs to be replaced.The top weaving isn't as good as others I've had, lots of flaws & fibers sticking up. We'll see if it affects the longevity.This rug is great quality. I was impressed as soon as I opened it knowing how much I paid for it. It is located in our entryway, therefore its purpose is to catch dirt as people walk in and out. With socks on or barefoot, the texture of the rug makes it uncomfortable to stand on for any period of time longer than a minute or so, which is why I rated it 4 stars. This is fine for us since we don't expect to be doing this based on its location, but its good to know if you plan on putting it in a high-traffic hallway where your family members aren't typically wearing shoes. We have a dog who really enjoys running to the front door to keep guard, so we had to get a heavy duty rug tape to keep it in place and it hasn't budged since. Seems easy enough to clean and our dog's fur comes off of the black border easily. There is a natural grass/hay smell to the rug when you first open it, but this goes away within in a week or so. I would highly recommend this rug for anyone looking for a neutral, stylish runner for their entryway or other high-traffic areas where shoes will be worn most of the time (mud room, garage hallway).Carpet runner is as advertised. Some loose strands, or strands sticking out, but these were largely repairable and seem normal for a natural product. Carpet is slightly rough on the feet, but nothing very noticeable. Overall, it does what it is supposed toLove this rug! Thick,doesn’t slide around on my tile floors, just as described, came quicklyThe runner arrived two feet short!
