The Watts 88005647 APEX (RA34) 3/4" RainAid Diaphragm Activated Rain Water Catchment Tank Valve to connect your rainwater collection system to your main water supply as a backup mechanism. A unique self-cleaning mechanism pushes a steel pin out of the pilot center to remove accumulated debris. RAINWATER TANK VALVE The fully adjustable Watts RainAid Rainwater Tank Valve is used to connect your rainwater collection tank to your main water supply as a backup mechanism for accessing non-potable water on-demand.
DURABLE CONSTRUCTION Crafted from fiberglass-reinforced nylon and acetyl (POM), this valve is built for durability and long life. It is diaphragm activated with a steel pin that runs inside the pilot center, which acts as a self-cleaning mechanism - unique to APEX valves.
FULL-FLOW VALVE Fully serviceable for long-term use, this 3/4" full-on/full-off valve features a larger flow rate and is equipped with a diaphragm that closes to prevent water hammer, the banging noise that can occur when water quickly stops or changes direction.
RAINWATER HARVESTING This valve is exceptionally suitable for rainwater harvesting applications, automatically switching to providing municipal water in the event of low rainfall.
