The finish is excellent. No complaints there. I originally had trouble installing and was convinced they wouldn't work at all due to a fitment issue. I gave it another shot and found I had to trim about a 1/2" off one of the sharp edges on the right side of the seat cowl. It was enough to completely throw off it fitting. The left side fit perfect. These join at the rear of the gas tank and it they both don't line up, they won't work. Trimming gave it enough give to line right up. I originally requested a return but ultimately canceled it since I was able to make it work. Like I said, the finish is awesome and it was worth the extra effort to get them to work.
