Libbey 1604 - 16 oz Pilsner Beer Glass Set of 24 (2 Dozen) - Perfect for Bars, Restaurants, and Home Beer Tasting Parties

I ordered 2 dozen Libbey 1604 glasses, which we like and have used in the past. They are very good basic beer glasses. The shipment arrived through UPS reasonably quickly, but I immediately knew there was a problem when I heard the sound of broken glass moving around inside the box. It turned out that 9 of the 24 glasses were broken (not just broken, but severely shattered).It is obvious the packing job was totally inadequate with only two layers of so-so bubble wrap around the inner box that held the glasses separate by thin cardboard. I have ordered a fair amount of glassware and porcelain-ware online, including through Amazon, and have never had a problem or seen such a poor packing job.The seller never responded to a number of emails, which included pictures. I even offered to keep the good glasses and just split the difference, but no answer. So, I really cannot recommend doing business with this seller.
