This paddle has a unique feel and response on contact with the ball. This racquet is light, It is softer than you think in it's hitting response so a little more 'umph' then most paddles to get it over with some force is required. This isn't a bad thing because with that you get great accuracy and control. This paddle also has the capability to impart good spin on the ball as well. I am playing and practicing more moving up in levels and now I want a more powerful hitting paddle so I will be changing racquets soon. But for the intermediate player wanting a solid feel and top notched control this is a great paddle. I would recommend getting an edge guard to protect the paddle during play because this is an edgeless racquet and not cheap. I keep hearing the racquet doesn't make you a better player, I say yes and no, but the wrong racquet will make you a worse player. Hope this helps, play hard, train harder and have fun!
