My neighborhood recently went fiber as an option, and of course I want access to it! This is just the device needed to switch everything up and gain access to the higher internet speeds that I have been waiting for. I don’t have a fully official “server” per se (although there are many parts and pieces that would define it as a server). But I did decide to use this to connect directly into my router, to try and get the most that I could from the fiber option.I don’t know about the extended temperature range capabilities, so I can’t speak to that. California temps are harsh at times, but not to those extremes! But I can say that this was a super easy setup for me. Everything installed almost as simply as plug and play, once I got the right SP module.
